UpTower Enters Its Next Chapter with Strategic Leadership Addition and Long-Term Growth Vision

UpTower announced that Steve Scott has joined the company’s leadership team as Chief Growth Officer, a key addition supporting the organization’s continued expansion and long-term strategic vision. Steve brings decades of renewable energy leadership experience, deep industry relationships, and a proven record of building high-performing teams, strengthening customer partnerships, and scaling organizations with discipline and purpose. His experience includes helping lead and grow nationally recognized renewable energy service organizations and overseeing large-scale wind and battery operations for one of the largest utility-backed renewable energy owner-operators in the country.

His appointment underscores UpTower’s commitment to growth while remaining grounded in the core values that define the company: safety, quality, integrity, and people.

UpTower has grown from a small operation into a nationally recognized renewable energy services provider supporting customers across the United States. The company continues expanding its capabilities across multiple service areas while investing heavily in leadership development, workforce training, and long-term operational scalability.

“This is an exciting step forward for our company,” said Jordan Bielefeld, President of UpTower. “Steve’s experience, leadership style, and understanding of both customers and employees align extremely well with where we are headed. We’ve built an incredible team and foundation over the years.  Bringing Steve into the organization strengthens  our ability to continue growing the right way.”

As Chief Growth Officer, Steve will lead initiatives across strategic growth planning, long-term customer partnerships, leadership and organizational development, and market positioning, with a particular focus on expanding service opportunities and building the operational infrastructure to support UpTower’s next phase of growth.

“Jordan and his team have created an incredible foundation at UpTower,” said Steve. “Their commitment to safety, technical expertise, training capabilities, quality, and culture all stood out as key reasons I wanted to be part of what they are building. I’m excited to work alongside the entire team to continue building a company that customers trust and employees are proud to be part of.”

A key driver behind UpTower’s continued growth is Renewable Training Center (RTC), the company’s affiliated training organization. RTC has rapidly earned industry recognition and was recently named the Global Wind Organisation’s (GWO) #1 Training Team in North America. Together, UpTower and RTC provide a unique combination of field execution, workforce development, and technical training that positions the organization strongly for future expansion.

As the renewable energy industry continues evolving, UpTower remains focused on strengthening long-term customer partnerships and building a scalable organization capable of supporting opportunities across wind, repower, inspections, major corrective services, and adjacent renewable energy markets including solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS).

“Our technicians, field leaders, support staff, trainers, and management team are the backbone of our success,” Bielefeld added. “This next chapter is about strengthening customer relationships, creating additional opportunities for our people, and continuing to build a world-class renewable energy services organization.”
