Wind turbine installation and service company Global Wind Service (GWS) opens a new business unit in Spain. The office is located in the city centre of Madrid close to the M-30 and public transportation. 

To head the new Business Unit, Daniel Coronel joined GWS as Area Manager in the summer. Daniel has a long and broad experience within wind from both Sarens and Vestas. 

The decision to open a business unit in Spain is closely linked to strategic priorities and ambitions.

"We have a clear ambition to keep growing and developing and for us, Spain is the natural next step.  We have a strong focus on staying in close proximity to our clients and further strengthen our commercial presence in Spain. With Daniel at the helm I'm confident that the Spanish unit will play an important role in our future journey" said Michael Høj Olsen, CEO of Global Wind Service.

Global Wind Service has worked on many different projects in Spain and installed more than 100 turbines for GE Renewable Energy alone.
