Astronergy has announced the addition of inverters to its portfolio of products beginning in Q3, 2012. The newly redesigned inverters are manufactured by Chint, were first released and field-proven in Asia, and are now UL certified and available for sale in the US. The inverters bring a new approach to design and manufacturing and feature: integrated DC/AC disconnect, which simplifies installation; flexible, fused DC input circuit, eliminating the need for external combiner boxes; wide DC voltage range for maximum design flexibility; AC/DC ratio of 1.35, accommodating high DC loading; true three-phase design; as well as a high-performance design based on a Photon A rated international version. All of these key value features, combined with new manufacturing techniques, have enabled a new standard inverter warranty of 10 years. Astronergy also offers value-add to customers by providing system cost optimization, one stop-shop strategy, and a full system warranty later this year.
