Solar Landscape Secures up to $150 Million in Development Financing with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners to Accelerate New Power Deployment

Solar Landscape, the nation’s leading platform for distributed energy infrastructure built on commercial real estate, announced the closing of a development financing facility of up to $150 million with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (“CIP”), through its Green Credit Fund II (CI GCF II), providing flexible capital to accelerate the development of distributed solar projects across the company's growing national pipeline.

The facility will initially support a discrete portfolio representing approximately 250 MWdc of mid- and late-stage development assets, allowing Solar Landscape to advance critical project activities, including equipment procurement, interconnection, offtake, and pre-construction sponsor development services earlier in the project lifecycle. By accelerating these activities, the company can move projects more efficiently from early-stage development to the beginning of construction, which will in turn bring new electricity generation online faster.

This facility will further provide the flexibility to support forward flow portfolio execution as Solar Landscape continues to scale its development platform and builds on a series of investments and structured finance transactions completed by Solar Landscape over the past year, including a $600 million senior debt facility, a $125 million corporate revolving credit facility, and a $117 million preferred equity investment. Together, these investments bring Solar Landscape’s total capital raised over the last three years to more than $2.2Bn and demonstrate continued institutional confidence in Solar Landscape's differentiated platform and its ability to execute distributed energy infrastructure at scale.

The transaction represents a throughput accelerant for Solar Landscape. Backed by flexible, early-stage capital from global infrastructure investor Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), this facility enables the company to advance projects earlier in the development cycle, increase platform throughput, and accelerate the deployment of distributed energy infrastructure needed to meet America's growing electricity demand as one of the nation’s fastest paths to new generation.
