SolarEdge Technologies recently introduced a new line of highly efficient, single-phase solar inverters, designed specifically for the North American market. The new line of inverters tops the CEC list with an industry leading 98% weighted average efficiency. To enhance design flexibility and grid compatibility, the range of SolarEdge inverters is now extended to include 3 kW, 3.8 kW, 5 kW, 6 kW, and 7 kW single-phase inverters, with grid support for 208 VAC, 240 VAC, and 277 VAC.

To further accommodate the needs of the North American market, the new SolarEdge inverters can be ordered with an extended operating temperature range of -40° F to 140° F. Additionally, the inverters are equipped with an improved communication board that requires no crimping of wires, thereby enabling faster and simpler installation. SolarEdge’s inverters are specifically designed to work with the SolarEdge power optimizers, providing up to 25% more energy, as well as maximum system design flexibility for residential and commercial installations.
