Schneider Electric introduces a new single-phase grid-tie inverter family designed for the residential PV market. These transformer-based inverters range from 2.8 to 5 kW and offer high-efficiency, simple installation, and meet Schneider Electric’s rigorous design and quality standards. Schneider Electric is also launching a new three-phase PV inverter, the GT500 480 is a 500 kW central inverter designed to interface at 480 VAC. The inverter is developed for rooftop and ground-mount installations either as a stand-alone unit or as part of our turn-key solutions. Schneider Electric is also introducing an innovative high-voltage solar Charge Controller for XW battery-based inverter systems. The MPPT 80 Amp charges 24V and 48V DC battery banks from PV arrays up to 600 volts, significantly reducing DC wiring and conduit costs and increasing installation flexibility.
