NEO Virtus Engineering Adds Texas, New Mexico, and Louisiana to Practice License

Aggressive demand for new DER installations throughout the US has changed the utilities’ system requirements for modeling and grid protection. Starting this quarter, three important sunbelt states join California, New England, New York, and New Jersey in their ability to secure the expertise of master PV engineers from NEO Virtus Engineering.

Solar developers, EPC’s and investors often need the input of specialized engineers to comply with a utility’s modeling requirement for utility scale and C&I systems, or to integrate low voltage relay grid protection in their design. Only a few solar engineering firms have the knowledge to fulfill current utility requirements along with the capability to provide stamped system design, interconnection applications, telemetry, PSCAD and PSS/E software supported modeling, commissioning, and solar analyses studies based on successful experience. The addition of these three sunbelt states offers large scale investors and operators the management advantage of focusing the attention of their contractors across multiple solar markets.

NEO Virtus will soon add Georgia and Pennsylvania to its list of states where it is licensed to stamp.
