Slew drives & larger solar trackers

IMO presents the new slew drive WD – LB 0140, which was especially developed to meet the requirements of solar thermal applications. The newly developed—and so far smallest—IMO slew drive stands out due to its extremely low-maintenance effort. It also has a high stiffness, which amongst other things is intensified by the elaborated slewing ring of the integrated IMO slew drive. A gearing with little axial clearance bears high demand on the precision of the position and the repetition when correcting the reflection mirrors. Appropriate heat treatment methods and coating processes, combined with the suitable lubricant and a new drive structure assure IMO, even under extreme environment conditions, offers an extremely long life span. With a compact design with a generously dimensioned output shaft for easy execution of supply lines, as well as individual adaptation of the drive motor and the provider system to customer specification, WD-LB 0140 can be integrated into almost every encoder system. Additionally, the environmental technology specialists will exhibit solar street lighting and solar home systems.
