Flexible and economical RSS

Midnite Solar's MNLSOB, " Little Shut Off Box", system is made up of a transmitter and one or more receivers. A transmitter is located in or near the inverter wiring compartment and the receivers wire directly to the module just like an optimizer. The system can be used for string or module level shutdown to meet 2014 NEC or 2017 NEC "National Electric Code." The transmitter induces a PLC signal into the existing PV wiring, no need to install any additional wiring in between. When Rapid Shut Down is initiated, the transmitter ceases sending out its signal and the receiver shuts down the array. The MNLSOB's easy installation on new or existing systems and ability to work with any brand of solar panel or inverter on the market make it a flexible and economical rapid shutdown solution.
