Electronics Technicians Association (ETA), International

Alternative energy credentialing programs

For over 32 years, ETA has met industry’s emerging technologies demands. Recently released, ETA International’s comprehensive Alternative Energy credentialing program is unlike any other green certification provider. The program currently offers Photovoltaic Installer (as well as Small Wind Installer and Commercial Wind Maintainer) “Hands-On” certifications. Each focus includes a three-tier career track for individuals to expand their knowledge within alternative energy fields. The certification programs are accepted by many in the industry including all branches of the US Military, Motorola, Corning, and others. ETA is a member of the Canadian Solar Industries Association (CanSIA), Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA), and Continental Automated Buildings Association (CABA). The association is comprised of over 5,000 members, 700 subject matter experts who serve on various industry advisory committees, and 1,000 exam/certification administrators.
