Boviet Solar | A Long-Term Manufacturing Commitment to the U.S. Solar Market
Boviet Solar continues to strengthen its long-term commitment to the American solar market through the expansion of its U.S. manufacturing operations in Greenville, North Carolina. This integrated manufacturing platform reflects a strategic investment in domestic capacity, workforce development, and supply-chain resilience designed to support the rapid growth of utility-scale, commercial, community-solar, and residential projects across the United States.
By establishing permanent U.S.-based PV module and PV cell manufacturing, Boviet Solar is building durable infrastructure to serve customers with greater stability, scale, and long-term confidence.
Phase I: U.S. PV Module Manufacturing
Boviet Solar’s Phase I PV module manufacturing facility opened in Greenville, North Carolina in April 2025. Representing an investment of approximately $294 million, the facility spans more than 521,000 square feet and is fully operational.
With an annual nameplate capacity of 3 GW, the factory manufactures Boviet Solar’s Gamma Series™ monofacial and Vega Series™ bifacial PV modules for projects across the United States. Phase I has already created more than 300 skilled manufacturing, engineering, and operations jobs, supporting local workforce development and long-term economic growth while delivering reliable, domestically manufactured solar products to customers.
Phase II: U.S. PV Cell Manufacturing
Building on Phase I, Boviet Solar began construction of its Phase II PV cell manufacturing facility in January 2025 as part of its long-term U.S. manufacturing strategy. Phase II represents an additional investment of approximately $100 million and will span roughly 600,000 square feet once completed.
The facility will have an annual production capacity of 3 GW of solar cells, manufacturing advanced P-Type and N-Type PV cells. Expected to be completed in the second half of 2026, Phase II will create more than 900 additional jobs and significantly strengthen domestic solar cell manufacturing and vertical integration within Boviet Solar’s U.S. operations.
A Long-Term Commitment to the U.S. Solar Market
Together, Phase I and Phase II form a fully integrated U.S. manufacturing platform that supports domestic content alignment, supply-chain resilience, and long-term customer confidence. By investing in real capacity, real jobs, and real infrastructure, Boviet Solar is reinforcing its role as a dependable, future-ready partner for the American solar industry.
As U.S. solar deployment continues to accelerate, Boviet Solar remains committed to supporting customers with reliable products, responsible manufacturing, and long-term partnership built in the United States for the U.S. market.
