Aigen Named a Fast Company Next Big Things in Tech Winner

Aigen, an AI-driven, true-solar, agriculture robotics company, has been named to Fast Company’s third annual Next Big Things in Tech list, honoring technology breakthroughs that promise to shape the future of industries. Aigen is the only hardware company to make the Food and Agriculture list this year.

Founded in 2020, Aigen is an agricultural technology company developing truly 100% solar-powered, autonomous robots for crop management without chemicals or fossil fuels. The Aigen Element combines the cutting edge of robotics and AI/ML to create breakthrough technologies that saves farmers time and money.

Aigen Element, as a platform, is designed to continually traverse farmlands and convert data into actionable insights. Its first commercial application addresses farmers' most urgent problem: eliminating herbicide-resistant weeds at scale. With a total $19 million raised, Aigen is building a 7,500 sq ft manufacturing and R&D facility to manufacture their solar-powered robotic fleet.

The Winter 2023/2024 issue of Fast Company is available online now and will hit newsstands on December 5.
