Calibrated spectrometers

StellarNet announces a new line of DUAL-DSR spectrometer systems specifically designed for a wide range of light measurements. These fiber optically coupled instruments provide absolute measurements in Watts/m2, Lumens/m2, Radiant/Luminous Flux, and more across the 200nm to 1700nm range. The flexibility of these systems lends themselves to a multitude of applications such as solar monitoring, solar simulator classification, crop reflectometry, and more. The SpectraWiz software suite includes a solar match application that can be used to characterize solar simulators. The application panel calculates spectral irradiance and compares the results to the ideal percent for each range per IEC/JIS/ASTM. The proximity of the measured data to the ideal values results in classification of the solar simulator from A-D. A high-speed USB2 interface ensures rapid data transfer while the fiber optic input allows various sampling accessories including cosine receptors and integrating spheres, allowing them to be SpectroRadiometrically calibrated using NIST-traceable standards.
