TROES Corp. to Supply BESS for Conversion of Two Government Buildings to Net-Zero in New Brunswick

Canadian Battery Energy Storage Systems company TROES is collaborating with New Brunswick based Al's Electric Services Ltd to support Smart Grid Atlantic program initiated by NB power, NS power, NRCan and Siemens.

The project is a part of the Shediac Smart Energy Community Project; specifically, the component where two commercial buildings will be converted to net-zero. As such, TROES is delivering two separate systems to the Government of Canada Pension Centre and the Town of Shediac's Multipurpose Centre. The primary purpose is to lower the buildings' energy use through "peak shaving". The sizes of the two systems are 30kW/124kWh and 100kW/528kWh. These systems will take advantage of renewable energy generated in the town by a new solar farm in coming months. TROES was chosen for these two projects due to our safer chemistry, highly adaptable design and guarantee of delivery.

The Shediac Smart Energy Community Project is part of the Smart Grid Atlantic program which is a four-year federally funded research and demonstration program aimed at determining how energy technologies of the future can provide customer, community and provincial benefits.
