Curo and Monta Partner to Reduce Idle Chargers and Power Fleet Mobility

Charger underutilization remains one of the biggest roadblocks to scaling electric vehicle infrastructure. Fleets need reliable charging access at scale, while charging  operators are left with idle assets and delayed revenue streams. That’s why Curo and Monta have joined forces.

Through this new integration, Curo’s Virtual Depot platform now seamlessly connects with Monta’s expansive EV charging network. Fleets using Curo can locate and charge at Monta-powered sites across the U.S. At the same time, operators on the Monta platform gain direct access to high-volume fleet demand, helping increase utilization and unlock new revenue opportunities.

“Our Virtual Depot model depends on partners who can perform reliably at scale, and Monta delivers exactly that,” said Kieran White, CEO and Co-Founder of Curo. “Together, we’re giving fleets the power to scale and distribute faster while offering operators a quicker path to profitability.”

“By joining forces with Curo, we’re not only helping operators monetize idle chargers, we’re enabling fleets to electrify faster without the added cost or delays of building new infrastructure. Our mission has always been to remove friction from the charging ecosystem, and this collaboration is a textbook example of how smart partnerships can help accelerate both revenue growth and sustainability” added Casper Rasmussen, CEO of Monta.

Monta’s EV charging platform unifies operations, roaming, payments, and analytics into one streamlined platform. With over 50,000 chargers migrated to Monta, operators on Monta have reported improvements, in some cases seeing up to a 100% increase in charge sessions and as much as 80% fewer support escalations.
