Affordable whole house solar generator

The Nature’s Generator Powerhouse is a whole home eco-power solution that can single-handedly address all home power requirements with its split phase 240V/7200W or single phase 120V/7200W (combined) pure sine wave inverter. Nature's Generator Powerhouse can bring the power to 240V electrical devices like water pumps, air conditioners, and heaters. Nature's Generator Powerhouse Line 1 is a 120V 3600W Capacity Pure Sine Wave and it is independent from Line 2. It can power up sensitive devices like refrigerators, freezers, garage door openers, computers, and more. Once the 3600W Line 1 is maxed out, Line 2 can bring power to more devices with additional 3600W. This eco-system is fully customizable, and by using solar or wind power, also completely free. The Nature's Generator Powerhouse Power Pod allows users to extend the battery capacity of their Powerhouse for an additional 4800Wh per added Power Pod. Every Powerhouse Power Pod also upgrades the solar input for an additional 2000W and wind input for an additional 1000W. Upgrading the Powerhouse is as fast and easy as plugging in to a wall outlet. Just plug in the Expansion-out cable from the Power Pod to the Expansion-In port of the Powerhouse or existing Power Pod. The Nature's Generator Powerhouse Power Panel uses a MONO PERC solar cell and the Nature's Generator Powerhouse Wind Turbine has been designed and made specifically for use with the Powerhouse and allows users to harness the power of wind to provide an additional method of charging the Nature's Generator Powerhouse. The Nature's Generator Powerhouse Transfer Switch backs-up a home's critical loads from the Powerhouse during a power outage. Nature’s Generator also offers an off-grid security system, the Nature's Generator Security Camera, built to work with the Powerhouse. Homes can now be monitored 24/7 even if the Powerhouse is turned off.

Nature's Generator Powerhouse Generator and Lithium Power Pod Review: A reliable and efficient backup power solution for a home or shop

NACE Product Review Team was excited to get our hands on Nature’s Generator Powerhouse unit and a Lithium Power Pod last month and we ran it through a substantial number of tests. One thing to note is the Powerhouse and Lithium Power Pod are a serious set of battery banks and arrive on a shipping pallet. Set up requires two people but otherwise was quick with easy to follow instructions. We were impressed with the build quality and finish of the units and we loved that the units can be charged from solar, wind generator, or even through a built-in AC charger that plugs into a standard 110V outlet. Although the Powerhouse Generator is considered mobile with its heavy duty swivel caster wheels, mobility is limited because the two units combined weigh in just over 620lb!

During our tests we connected the units into a 2000W bank of mono-crystalline solar panels, and although charging time will vary depending on sunlight intensity and other factors, with the built-in charging system, we were able to fully charge the Powerhouse and attached Lithium Power Pod in just over 4 hours. This alone would make this system great for an emergency power source. It's always recommended to consult the manufacturer's guidelines and specifications for precise charging times and to make the best use of the solar panels to optimize the charging process for each specific setup.

Both the Powerhouse Generator and Lithium Power Pod are equipped with advanced battery management systems, ensuring long-lasting performance and protection against overcharging, overloading, and short-circuiting. The lighter Lithium Power Pod utilizes lithium-ion batteries, which provide high energy density, long lifespan, and fast charging, and the Powerhouse unit uses AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) battery technology, which provides efficient power storage and reliable performance. AGM batteries are known for their low self-discharge rates and excellent resistance to vibration, making them suitable for long-term energy storage.

With a full charge, the Powerhouse Generator delivers 1800W of continuous power, with a surge capacity of 3600W, enabling it to handle high-demand appliances like refrigerators, microwaves, computers, and even power tools. This can be expanded to almost any capacity by adding multiple lighter weight 1000W Lithium Power Pods. We loved the flexibility the multiple 110V and 220V AC outlets, USB ports, and 12Vdc outlets provided for running equipment and ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices.

With a full charge in both units we were able to run a 10,000 BTU air conditioner and a standard sized energy star rated refrigerator for just over 2 hours, but connecting the Powerhouse directly to a bank of solar panels may allow homeowners to run similar appliances continuously.

The expandable power solutions from Nature’s Generator offer a reliable and efficient way to meet a household's emergency energy needs, set up electricity for a small off-grid home or cabin, or even provide power for a mobile office or shop. Overall, the versatile nature of the Powerhouse Generator allows users to adapt to various scenarios and power different devices, making it a reliable and flexible solution for a wide range of applications. We were pleasantly impressed by the system’s performance and simplicity and would recommend it to anyone looking for a renewable backup power source!
