Advanced generator with front-facing exhaust

Briggs & Stratton has launched an advanced generator, PowerProtect+ standby generators. The new and improved 18kW, 22kW, and 26kW lineup includes 64 engineering enhancements focused on quality and performance, and features a front-facing exhaust. The front exhaust is a safe design that blows heat and fumes away from the home and nearby foliage for less wear and tear on siding and landscaping. The exhaust design also allows for installation flexibility around the home. From the smallest to the largest, all Briggs & Stratton models are able to start a five-ton air conditioner with ease. At 65.5kVA, the PowerProtect+ 26kW generator has enough motor starting power to handle two five-ton AC units and provide whole-home power. The power comes from Briggs & Stratton’s commercial-grade Vanguard engine. Briggs & Stratton’s PowerProtect 13kW was the first Briggs & Stratton Generator to feature the front-facing exhaust. Its compact footprint allows it to fit in tight spaces and lot lines and delivers 37kVA of motor starting power. The Briggs & Stratton PowerProtect+ 18kW and 22kW each have 45kVA. The PowerProtect+ line is backed by Briggs & Stratton’s seven-year warranty. The comprehensive standard warranty includes coverage on parts, labor, and travel throughout the entire seven years. Dealer exclusive (DX) models featuring a 10-year warranty are available for all PowerProtect+ Generators, including the 18kW.
