Arbnco's Indoor Environment Technology arbn well Named Solar Impulse Efficient Solution

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, many businesses are turning to innovative technologies to improve indoor environmental quality. One such solution,  arbn well, was recently awarded the "Solar Impulse Efficient Solution" Label following an assessment performed by external independent experts and based on verified standards. A product of arbnco, the innovative software measures and analyzes the indoor environment for occupant health and productivity. As a result of the Label, arbn well is joining the #1000solutions challenge, an initiative by the Solar Impulse Foundation to select solutions that meet high profitability and sustainability standards and present them to decision-makers to fast-track their implementation.

To receive the "Solar Impulse Efficient Solution" Label, arbn well was thoroughly assessed by a pool of independent experts according to five criteria covering the three main topics of Feasibility, Environmental and Profitability. All labeled solutions are part of the #1000solutions portfolio presented to decision-makers in business and government by Bertrand Piccard, Chairman of the Solar Impulse Foundation. This initiative aims to encourage the adoption of more ambitious environmental targets and fast-track these solutions on a large scale.

"Receiving this label further reinforces the importance of our work to developing effective software that helps buildings perform optimally and efficiently," said Brian Van Buskirk, Chief Product Officer of arbnco. "We hope to continue advancing our technology to accelerate the transition to smarter operating buildings, especially in the wake of the current pandemic."

Providing human-centric technology, arbn well provides a new way to assess and enhance health and wellbeing in buildings. Considering that the science of health and wellbeing can be complicated to measure and act on, arbnco's team works with clients to install a measuring and occupant engagement service that gives a real insight into real-time indoor environment conditions. The technology then uses these results to propose courses of action to improve buildings with algorithms to identify potential trouble spots before tenant complaints and serious occupational-health issues arise.
