NEMA Welcomes Four New Manufacturing Companies to Growing Membership
The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) announced four new manufacturing companies will join its growing membership. EPD - Electronic Power Design, Prosource Industries, Inc., Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc., and Steffes, LLC will expand the association’s leadership in electrification and strengthening American manufacturing.
"NEMA's member companies are at the forefront of electrifying America’s energy landscape, from industry, buildings, homes, and data centers to our cyber and transportation systems," said Debra Phillips, President and CEO, NEMA. "We welcome these four new companies into our association membership and look forward to working alongside them to innovate amid skyrocketing growth in electricity demand."
“We appreciate the important work the team at NEMA has done over the years advocating for electrical equipment manufacturers, like SEL, on important issues including supply chain, international trade, and cybersecurity, along with publishing technical resources, and creating industry connections," said Dave Whitehead, President, Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories. “At SEL, we are dedicated to inventing, designing, and manufacturing products that significantly increase the reliability, resilience, and security of electric power systems and we look forward to partnering with NEMA to continue to address the evolving challenges facing electrical infrastructure in the U.S. and around the world.”
“Steffes is proud to join NEMA and work alongside industry leaders committed to strengthening our electric grid and driving innovation in energy management. As a U.S. manufacturer, we’re focused on creating high-quality American jobs while delivering electric thermal storage solutions that support reliability, resilience, and affordability across the energy landscape,” said Al Takle, Business Unit Leader, Steffes.
NEMA’s new manufacturing member companies are:
- EPD - Electronic Power Design: leading in the designing, developing, testing and optimizing of all types of energy systems including switchboards, generators, and more.
