Exus North America Announces Key Leadership Hires

Exus North America, a renewables asset management and development firm, has announced the appointment of three key executives to its senior leadership team, signalling a significant step in the company's growth trajectory and expansion into an Independent Power Producer (IPP).

Mike Farrell joins Exus as Chief Financial Officer, bringing over 15 years of finance and development experience in renewable energy. Mike's previous roles in the renewables industry involved leading project finance, M&A, and development, where he played a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives and financial growth.

Edith Webster-Freed assumes the role of Senior Vice President and General Counsel for North America. With over two decades of experience in private practice law, Edith brings extensive expertise in the development, structuring, and financing of infrastructure and renewable energy projects. Her deep understanding of acquisitions, divestitures, and private equity investments will further strengthen Exus' legal and strategic capabilities.

David Berthelsen takes on the position of Head of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction, leveraging his extensive experience in project management and business development. With a focus on project scope, strategy, cost, and execution, David's leadership will enhance Exus' capabilities in executing larger utility scale projects efficiently and effectively. Previous teams led by David have constructed over 5.7 GW of renewable energy.
