DENIOS Celebrates 40 Years of Safety Innovations with Year Long Festivities

As part of the year-long festivities for their 40th anniversary celebration, DENIOS introduces “Vision Zero” – a holistic view of safety for today and tomorrow. Building on 4 decades of responsibility, the company consulting, products, and services into a comprehensive safety ecosystem that is technical, cultural, and measurable. Vision Zero considers safety beyond standards – across scenarios, systems, and life cycles.

“We celebrate 40 years as a unique global brand with a clear purpose – Protect Life and the Environment,” said DENIOS US President Diego Rodriguez. “In this celebration, we embrace our commitment to help shape a future with zero safety accidents in the Americas.”

40 years

Vision Zero provides a 4-step roadmap to a world without damage to people and the environment. The safety partnership starts with analysis – DENIOS personnel working with customers to recognize risks and potentials. All current aspects are assessed, including plants, processes, hazardous material flows, and existing protective measures to identify risks, priorities, and specific fields of action.

Based on the findings, a tailored solution is developed, including suitable technology, clear processes, organizational measures, digital tools, and services to keep the facility compliant, cost-effective, and operationally ready.

DENIOS then plans, supplies, and implements the solution covering everything from safe storage and handling of hazardous materials to leak free processes, monitoring solutions, and employee training.

Since safety does not end with the commissioning, DENIOS supports customers solutions throughout their life cycle with consulting, maintenance, audits, modernization, and continuous improvement. This makes Vision Zero a measurable standard within any organization.

DENIOS US is a key part of their German parent company and was established 36 years ago. It has been centrally located in Louisville for the entirety of its existence, and that’s not by accident. “Louisville is the perfect geographic hub for distribution throughout the Midwest and East Coast,” continued Rodriguez, citing the presence of neighbor UPS.

DENIOS employs nearly 100 people at their Louisville factory, with wide ranging skills including manufacturing, logistics, engineering, support, sales, marketing, administration, purchasing, and more. “The people make it happen. Their passion and dedication keep not only our facility safe, but their expertise, innovative approach, and reliable service keep customer facilities operating safely and productively.”

DENIOS offers the widest range of handling and storage of hazardous materials – in small and bulk quantities. They continue to innovate with new products born out of customer need, to serve thousands of customers throughout the Americas. The Louisville facility is chartered with extending the brand presence to other countries while continuing to gain market share in the existing core countries of the US and Canada by introducing innovative products and make them accessible through direct, resale, and digital channels.

The latest innovation is the creation of a service department to install equipment like flood and spill barriers and provide maintenance to keep these and other products performing optimally.

“We’re thrilled to celebrate the first 40 years, and look forward to the next four decades,” summarized Rodriguez, “When you are surrounded by a group of talented, passionate, and dedicated contributors in all positions there are truly no barriers to achieving our goals.”
