Boston law firm Davis Malm announces that shareholder Robert J. Munnelly, Jr. moderated the Northeast Energy and Commerce Association (NECA) webinar, "Future of Residential Electric Competition," on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. Mr. Munnelly directed a discussion among energy experts on the fairness and cost-effectiveness of competitive retail electricity supplier offerings to residential customers. The webinar covered critical recent developments affecting the present and future of residential competitive electric supply markets in the five New England restructured states.
Mr. Munnelly is a regulatory lawyer with extensive experience handling legal issues faced by clients in highly regulated industries. He represents competitive energy and communications companies nationally and routinely represents clients in a wide range of regulatory issues. He also has substantial experience working with companies in other regulated industries, including helping clients navigate the cannabis licensing process in Massachusetts. His data security practice focuses on advising clients on developing and updating Written Information Security Plans; responding to possible security incidents under laws of Massachusetts and other states; preparing data-related policies such as terms of service and privacy policies; and advising on new and emerging data requirements in foreign and U.S. jurisdictions.
