Avtron Power Solutions Moves to New, Larger Cleveland Facility

Avtron Power Solutions, a global leader in load banks and test solutions, recently moved to a new, larger manufacturing facility and U.S. headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio.

The expanded facility will be a central hub for Avtron’s operations in North America and allow the company to better serve its valued customers by increasing load bank manufacturing capacity, reducing leading times, improving response times, and enhancing support, while it continues to innovate and provide critical power solutions.

“This new, larger facility is an integral step in our strategic growth plan,” said David Cox, CEO, Avtron Power Solutions. “This move is a testament of our commitment to meeting the evolving needs of our customers, as well as our commitment to innovation, quality, and customer service.”

The new facility, located at 9450 Allen Drive, is 115,000 square feet, and features a 65 percent larger manufacturing area than its previous facility, also located in Cleveland. The new facility is strategically laid out to ensure efficient flow of materials and products throughout the manufacturing processes. 

The new facility further increases Avtron’s global footprint.  In addition to Cleveland, Avtron manufactures in Stamford UK and has recently expanded capacity in Reynosa Mexico.

“Opening our new facility couldn’t come fast enough,” added Cox. “As the industry leader, demand has continued to increase. With the additional capacity, we are now much more responsive to customer needs and have significantly reduced lead times.”  

To commemorate the new facility, the company held an official ribbon cutting and inauguration celebration in late April. During the celebration, Cox and company board members addressed the Avtron team, thanking them for their hard work and unprecedented results, before 46-year veteran associate, Phyllis Walker, was given the honor of officially cutting the ribbon.
