Bachmann Monitoring, recognized leader in the field of Condition Monitoring Systems (CMS) for wind energy plants, expands its competence considerably by acquiring team know-how and intellectual property from airwerk GmbH. This addition significantly enhances Bachmann's portfolio in the area of Condition Monitoring to include Structural Health Monitoring (SHM).

By adding substantial SHM know-how to its already successful products and services, Bachmann offers a comprehensive monitoring concept to its customers. This state of the art SHM enables early detection of potential damage to structural elements, which plays an important role in the operation, maintenance (O&M) and asset management of offshore wind energy plants.

Holger Fritsch, Managing Director at Bachmann Monitoring, is very pleased with the expansion, "Our goal has always been to create a holistic asset monitoring concept. Now we can offer exactly this.
