Kerrick Johnson has joined VEIC's leadership team. As the new Strategy and Corporate Affairs Director, Johnson brings more than 30 years of experience in the energy industry to VEIC.

"With an impressive record of achievement in innovation, a well-earned reputation for integrity, and an extensive national network, Kerrick is the perfect addition to help shape and accelerate our evolution."

Johnson was most recently Co-Founder and Chief Ecosystem Officer for Utopus Insights, a New York-based energy analytics startup acquired earlier this year by Vestas Wind Systems A/S. Prior to that he served as Vice President of Strategy and Communication for Vermont Electric Power Company (VELCO). 

This addition comes as VEIC continues to refocus and revitalize its work to sharpen its sustainable energy impact. In addition to his support of the organization's goals to expand into new regions and markets, Johnson will work collaboratively with the company's Vermont team, led by Efficiency Vermont Director, Rebecca Foster.

Johnson began work at VEIC on November 30, 2018 and is based in the Burlington, VT headquarters.
