STMicroelectronics, a global semiconductor leader serving customers across the spectrum of electronics applications, announced today that it has joined the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) World and Europe.

The DJSI Europe and World indices, jointly calculated by the Standard & Poor's Dow Jones The S&P Dow Jones is a leading reference in sustainability indices. Their DJSI World index is the longest running global index to track the leading sustainability-driven companies based on RobecoSAM's analysis of financially material Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors and S&P DJI's robust index methodology. 

Indices and RobecoSAM Founded in 1995, RobecoSAM is an investment specialist focused exclusively on Sustainability Investing. It offers asset management, indices, impact analysis and investing, sustainability assessments, and benchmarking services., reward the most responsible companies in the world. STMicroelectronics, with a total score of 81 points out of 100, was ranked in the top ten percent of the global semiconductor companies that were invited to participate in the DJSI.
