ENERGY STORAGE EUROPE 2019: Focus on Business Topics and Applications

Business topics and successful energy storage applications are the focus of the 8th ENERGY STORAGE EUROPE 2019. The emphasis on concrete business with a wide variety of storage technologies meets the wishes of numerous exhibitors and visitors. The international event has grown to 4,500 visitors from 61 countries and 170 exhibitors seven years in a row. With a 99.8 percent share of trade visitors, the trade fair and conferences have established themselves as leading events in the energy storage industry.

ENERGY STORAGE EUROPE will continue to offer a platform for all storage technologies in 2019. This cross-technology orientation is supported by the range of technologies on display and the comprehensive, joint conference programme of the 8th ENERGY STORAGE EUROPE Conference and the 13th International Renewable Energy Storage Conference (IRES) of EUROSOLAR e.V.. The conference sessions will take place parallel to ENERGY STORAGE EUROPE Expo in the immediate vicinity of the exhibition.

Mobility Infrastructure is gaining in importance

In the field of applications, ENERGY STORAGE EUROPE will focus not only on buildings and networks, but also on mobility infrastructure. The conference sessions will deal with issues such as charging infrastructure and mobility on water, in the air and on rail. Messe Düsseldorf also expects exhibitors to find specialist providers of storage solutions in these segments.

Diversified technologies

On the technology level, battery storage, mechanical storage, thermal storage and power-to-gas as well as power-to-heat solutions will again be presented at the trade fair and accompanying conferences. The new technological focal points of the ENERGY STORAGE EUROPE Conference include high-temperature batteries, which are characterised by particularly high energy densities.
