The American-Made Network

The American-Made Network is comprised of industry experts, incubators, fabrication facilities and laboratories, investors, and industry partners that will help competitors get new solar innovations to the pilot phase. Last week, several members of the network discussed their participation in the competition and highlighted how they'll be helping Solar Prize competitors. Among them:

  • The Scott Institute for Energy Innovation at the Carnegie Mellon University showcased the faculty members who will be competing and discussed the guidance and mentorship they'll be providing competitors as they progress through the contest.
  • The Clean Energy Business Network is connecting competitors to additional resources and revealed that they will be debuting a new tool this fall to facilitate partnerships between energy businesses, investors, and clients.
  • EnerWise and CleanWeb San Francisco discussed the events they've hosted and highlighted that they will be providing competitors with product and pitch feedback and introductions to potential pilot partners, advisors, and vendors.
