LGCY Power (LGCY), a Sunrun Certified Partner, celebrated its four year anniversary and record breaking growth, which has led to the company becoming the largest privately held residential solar sales company in the United States.

LGCY was started by Doug Robinson and Luke Toone and is the realization of their vision of offering a complete end-to-end residential solar solution that allows customers to power their homes with the sun and store power to alleviate peak-usage charges at little to no upfront cost. In 2014 the company started with three employees and held its first meeting at a Blue Lemon restaurant because it had free WiFi. Today, the company is headquartered in Lehi, Utah in the heart of Silicon Slopes and employs more than 700 people nationwide with offices in 19 states.

Since 2014 LGCY has achieved a number of significant milestones, including becoming the fastest growing company in the solar industry and recording the highest Net Promoter Score (NPS), 72, ever by a solar company. In 2017 LGCY introduced solar battery technology to California and throughout its partnership with Sunrun have placed sales reps in The Home Depot. In 2018 LGCY added Greg Butterfield, former VSLR CEO to its team, expanded its partnership with Sunrun and was named one of the best companies to work for by Utah Business Magazine and Glassdoor.com. 

Heading into this four-year anniversary LGCY had a historic month in August, setting new records in sales and solar installations. Additionally, LGCY recently received a number of honors and awards for growth. Utah Business Magazinenamed LGCY one of the 50 fastest growing companies in Utah and the MountainWest Capital Network (MWCN) named LGCY to its list of Emerging Elite companies. The award recognizes Utah companies that are less than five years old but more than two that show significant promise for future success. 

Moving forward, the company is committed to creating new opportunities for leadership growth and development by its sales force, growing its sales force to multiple customer acquisition channels and adding additional products and services for its customers.
