UL Releases Q2 2018 Wind Trends Bulletin
Quarterly wind performance maps for Q2 2018 show deviations in the wind resource from average Q2 conditions in every region of the world.
In the second quarter of 2018, winds were above normal relative to the long-term, second quarter norm (1988-2014) across key wind power producing areas of the northeast United States and the southern Plains, northern Scandinavia and Central Europe, Northeast Asia, and New Zealand. Winds were below normal across Asia, and central United States.
