Nergica, formerly TechnoCentre éolien, is pleased to announce the finalists of the 6th Quebec Wind Energy Industry Gala, which will be held on June 12 in Carleton-sur-Mer as part of the 12th Quebec Wind Energy Conference. This event, presented by Siemens Gamesa, acknowledges the organizations and individuals that have distinguished themselves in the Quebec wind sector over the past two years. 

After careful consideration, the jury retained 12 businesses and three individual finalists. "We received strong candidates that clearly reflect the development and maturity of the wind sector. The jury was impressed with the high quality of the businesses and active entrepreneurs in the industry. This gala is the perfect opportunity to highlight and celebrate their accomplishments," states Frédéric Côté, General Manager of Nergica, the organization behind the 6th Quebec Wind Energy Industry Gala. 

Businesses and individuals were invited to apply in one of seven categories. The winner in the Enterprise of the Year category will be chosen from the finalists and unveiled at the gala.

The candidates were evaluated by a jury of the following individuals:

- Jean-Frédérick Legendre, Quebec Regional Director, Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA) 

- Frédéric Côté, General Manager, Nergica 

The winners of each category will be announced at the gala scheduled on June 12, at the Hostellerie Baie Bleue in Carleton-sur-Mer with a blue theme ("Baie Bleue bal en bleu"). 

The 12th Quebec Wind Energy Conference focused on energy transition 

Always current on the issues at stake and of interest to wind industry stakeholders, the Conference offers participants a specialized and intriguing program. The various presentations will inform and equip participants with knowledge on the current and upcoming trends and challenges of the industry. Speakers will address themes related to energy transition, the impact of climate change in the wind sector, energy storage, and the Industry 4.0 market regarding wind energy, innovation, refitting of wind farms, the cold climate, and much more.
