Hingham, Mass.-based Fairbanks Energy Services, a full-service design/build energy conservation firm and leader in developing comprehensive commercial and industrial efficiency projects, announced that it is sponsoring 2018 BuildingsNY, a conference for building owners and operators from the commercial, government, industrial and institutional sectors. The conference is being held May 8-9 at the Javits Center.
During the conference, attendees will have the opportunity to learn firsthand about the work Fairbanks Energy Services has completed throughout the tri-state area through an assortment of case studies including current and recently finished LED lighting and mechanical projects at 60 Hudson Street and 111 8th Avenue that yield combined annual energy savings of over $250,000, utility incentives totaling nearly $200,000 and project paybacks of less than two years.
Representatives from Fairbanks Energy Services’ New York City office will be available at booth #560 in the Con Edison Pavilion to discuss their work helping building owners in a variety of sectors optimize energy usage and obtain utility incentives while cutting costs. The firm’s staff has extensive experience in the field of energy conservation and has developed and installed energy efficiency solutions, for existing facilities that have generated a rapid return on investment.
“There continue to be numerous opportunities throughout New York for building owners and operators to take advantage of LED lighting upgrades, advanced controls and HVAC overhauls,” said Adam Fairbanks, Chief Executive Officer of Fairbanks Energy Services. “Not only do comprehensive efficiency upgrades reduce a building’s carbon footprint, they also contribute significantly to the bottom line of the building’s financial health. We look forward to sharing our strategies, best practices and case studies with conference attendees.”
