American Elements announced the further expansion of its bulk lithium compound and alloy production facilities to meet growing demand for lithium materials in battery production. Among the affected materials are high purity grades of lithium carbonate, anhydrous lithium hydroxide and several other anode and electrolyte compositions. 

The new production capacity will affect deliveries beginning in mid-March 2018 and will allow for multi-truckload/rail car orders, according to a statement by the company.
