174 Power Global Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hanwha Energy corporation of South Korea, has announced that it has begun construction on a 236 MW project in Pecos County in West Texas. 

174 Power Global Corp. plans to build, own and operate the power plant for 25 years and sell 100% of the electricity output generated by the facility to Austin Energy, a leading Texas renewable energy purchaser. More than 680,000 high quality Mono-crystalline 345Wp Modules for the project will be provided by Hanwha Q CELLS. Engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) will be performed by Hanwha Q Cells USA 

Midway Solar total project costs are approximately USD 260 mil. Once completed, the power plant will generate enough electricity to power more than 50,000 homes annually with clean, renewable energy from the sun. Midway Solar will be the largest installed PV project in Texas to date.
