AutoGrid Appoints Bob Dahlberg as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships & Business Development

AutoGrid, the leader in flexibility management software, announced that it has appointed Bob Dahlberg as vice president of strategic partnerships & business development. Dahlberg will lead efforts to build a multi-channel partner network and develop new business opportunities with partners in energy efficiency, hardware manufacturing and demand-response aggregation. He also will work on securing new licensing opportunities for AutoGrid's flagship software applications, AutoGrid Flexâ„¢ and AutoGrid Engageâ„¢. In his role, Dahlberg will engage with key internal and external stakeholders to drive partner revenue, satisfaction and growth.

Dahlberg comes to AutoGrid from Arrayent, a leading consumer internet of things platform for brand manufacturers, where he signed the company's first major customers. Before joining Arrayent, he served as a partner at technology venture capital firm Horizon Ventures. Dahlberg began his startup career at then pre-revenue Synopsys, now the world's 15th largest software company.  There he served in numerous sales, marketing and corporate development leadership positions and established the Synopsys Venture Fund.

Before Synopsys, Dahlberg was a product manager at Intel, responsible for ethernet, data communications and digital signal processing integrated circuits. Dahlberg holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and a B.S. in electrical engineering and computer science with honors from the University of California at Berkeley.

"As more distributed energy resources come online, the ability to seamlessly manage flexible capacity at the grid edge is allowing energy providers and owners of large asset portfolios to transform their business models and deepen their relationships with energy consumers," said Dahlberg. "It's a great time to join AutoGrid and develop our partner network as more and more energy companies adopt AutoGrid's platform to successfully integrate and monetize distributed energy resources."
