Ole Bigum Nielsen joins K2 Management as Chief Operating Officer

To strengthen deliverables in clients' projects and daily operations, a new role of Chief Operating Officer has been created in K2 Management. The position will as of 1 December be filled by Ole Bigum Nielsen, who also will be joining the Executive Management team.

"As we grow, develop new services and enter new markets, we need to have a firm focus on daily operations, reporting structure and performance. With Ole Bigum Nielsen onboard as Chief Operating Officer, I am confident we will strengthen and optimize our services and solutions to existing and new clients even better," CEO Henrik Stamer explains.

Ole Bigum Nielsen chose to resign in April 2017 as Vattenfall's Country Manager in Denmark and Vice President of Engineering and Construction after 12 years in the company in various positions, responsible for the development and construction of onshore and offshore projects.

He commented, "I have been following and working with K2 Management for several years, the latest on the DanTysk offshore project. I have always been very pleased with the practical and hands-on experience offered by the company. Since then the company has developed from a handful of experienced people to a global, respected consultancy. I am looking forward to strengthening that position even further, as I see great potential in our service offerings to the market."
