A new market study has been released showing that lead batteries are the most recycled consumer product in the U.S. The study was published by SmithBucklin Statistics Group and found that lead batteries are recycled at a rate of 99.3%.  According to the report this demonstrates the exceptional sustainability of lead batteries and the role they play in environmentally friendly applications.
