Aquilon Energy Services recently opened a new, expanded office in the Esperson building in downtown Houston to support its ongoing growth in the city. Aquilon is the developer of the Energy Settlement Network ®, the first collaborative, cloud-based platform to automate wholesale energy settlements.

The ESNâ„¢ enables buyers and sellers to automatically identify exceptions and settle physical and financial energy transactions with their counterparties. Earlier this year, Aquilon announced that it raised $19 million during a Series B financing round. This included investments from Citi, Goldman Sachs Principal Strategic Investments, Invenergy and Macquarie Group. In addition to investing, all four companies are joining the ESN.
