PCI Solar has been awarded the Eastern Contra Costa Transit Authority (ECCTA) Solar RFP in Antioch, California. The project was designed by EDesignC Inc. and released for bid through a competitive RFP process. 

The solar array consists of a roof mounted ballasted system, three solar carports and a solar shade structure for the Transit Authority's bus fleet. The carports and bus shade structure are designed and manufactured by RBI.  The 398kW DC system incorporates REC 320 watt modules and SolarEdge inverters. Construction is scheduled to begin Q3 of 2017.
Eastern Contra Costa Transit Authority (Tri Delta Transit) provides nearly 3 million trips each year to a population of nearly 290,000 residents in the 225 square miles of Eastern Contra Costa County. Tri Delta Transit operates 13 local bus routes Monday-Friday, 4 local bus routes on weekends and holidays, door-to-door bus service for senior citizens and people with disabilities, and shuttle services for community events.
