Lime Energy Awarded Small Business Direct Install Contract with AEP Kentucky Power

Lime Energy Co. has been awarded a three-year contract with AEP Kentucky Power, a unit of American Electric Power, to implement the AEP Kentucky Power Express Install Program.

The program is designed to reach small and mid-size businesses with peak demand under 100kW and will pay up to 70 percent of the project cost to install energy efficiency solutions in their commercial space. Eligible business owners will have the opportunity to upgrade their existing interior and exterior lighting systems with new, energy-efficient equipment, including energy-saving LED technology. The program will provide customers with a completely turn-key experience - Lime Energy will conduct a full energy assessment of their facilities to identify potential savings, present an immediate on-site proposal, install the new technology, safely recycle the old equipment, and provide financing options to eligible customers.

"Lime Energy is excited to work with AEP Kentucky Power and serve the small and mid-size businesses in eastern Kentucky," said Adam Procell, Lime Energy's President and CEO. "Lime Energy is committed to providing turn-key energy efficiency solutions that not only reduce energy consumption but also improve the bottom line, drive local economic growth, and stimulate job creation."
