Slow speed shredder

The HTS-2 shredder can help minimize the costs of processing contaminated biomass fuel sources, such as stumps, construction and demolition debris (C & D), and railroad ties. The HTS-2 is designed to be placed upstream from a high-speed grinder in a complete biomass processing system, offering better tolerance of contaminants like rocks and steel. The shredder takes raw material down to an intermediate size, allowing contaminates to be separated efficiently. An in-line high-speed grinder can then easily process the biomass fuel to finished size specifications without experiencing catastrophic impacts from contaminants. For facilities that process contaminated biomass feedstocks, the combination of a slow-speed shredder and a high-speed grinder can dramatically increase uptime while lowering maintenance costs.
