3M’s new Economy Harness is developed with their Scotchgard Protector. The protectant is applied to the fibers of the harness webbing to help repel liquids and prevent stains. Rated to 400 lbs (181 kg) the Economy Harness has expanded size offerings including XS, Universal and XXL. Easy-to-adjust straps make it adjustable for many body sizes, shapes, and weights, and the lightweight materials offer comfort, flexibility and ease-of-use for wearers. The X-shaped backplate paired with lanyard keepers help reduce potential entanglement for workers at height and makes donning and doffing easy. The Economy Harness line is tested and meets ANSI Z359.1-2007 and Z259.10-2012 standards as well as the requirements of OSHA 20 CFR 1910.66 and 1926.502 regulations.
