High power range inverter
e Fronius Tauro is a robust project inverter for use in unsheltered outdoor locations (IP 65), so that it is perfectly suited to large-scale systems ranging from 100kW to 5MW. e investment and operating costs of large-scale systems can be reduced to a minimum thanks to this inverter.

CIGS-perovskite tandem cell
Scientists at Solliance, in collaboration with MiaSolé Hi-Tech Corp., fabricated
a exible solar cell with a power conversion e ciency of 21.5%. e
solar cell combines two thin- lm solar cell technologies into a 4 terminal tandem solar cell stack: a top exible semi-transparent perovskite solar cell with a bottom exible copper indium gallium selenide (CIGS) cell. CIGS technology has been successfully used
to produce high e ciency exible and lightweight cells and modules, which address markets where heavy and rigid panels cannot be used. Perovskite solar cells, despite being a relatively young technology, have already achieved high e ciencies, and promise low cost solar technology based on abundant materials. Combining both technologies in a exible and lightweight package expands the horizon of high performance, exible, and customizable solar technology.

Handheld data logger
METEON 2.0 is compact, exible, and battery powered; optimized for solar irradiance measurement in all types of solar energy applications. Users can check monitoring installations, visualize incoming radiation, and verify performance on the spot. METEON 2.0 can connect up to 5 Kipp & Zonen Modbus devices; SMP, RT1, and other types and allows users to power smart devices and con gure their communication parameters. It allows connection to a Mencke & Tegtmeyer Modbus PV module temperature sensor and includes a real-time clock.
