The Campbell Scientific RIG100 is a CAISO-validated Remote Intelligent Gateway (RIG). The RIG100 is used to telemeter secure, real-time operational data from renewable energy generating units to the CAISO Energy Management System (EMS). The RIG100 consists of a Campbell Scientific CR1000 datalogger and NL200 Network Link Interface, which utilizes secure DNP3 over TCP/IP.
