Trojan Battery has expanded its industrial line of deep-cycle batteries for renewable energy and backup power applications to include two new sizes. The new IND27-2V battery has a 1457Ah capacity at C20, and the new IND33-2V battery has a 1794 Ah capacity at C20. The industrial line was designed to support large daily loads where the batteries are cycled regularly in a variety of PV systems, including micro-grids, off-grid resorts, rural telecom applications, and more. These two 2V industrial batteries make transport and installation easier and provide more design flexibility. Trojan’s industrial line is engineered for high-energy requirements, delivering 1,500 cycles at 80% depth-of-discharge, and featuring advanced battery technologies that provide optimum performance. To enhance safety and durability, the new batteries will feature terminal protectors, which increase protection against shock or short-circuiting, as well as terminal corrosion.
