Phoenix Contact has added compact AC/DC power supplies ranging from 30W to 100W to the premium QUINT POWER family. With these new low wattage additions, control engineers can select a more precise power supply for
their low-power applications, while still getting advanced QUINT POWER features, such as preventative monitoring and power reserve. All of the new low wattage additions feature QUINT POWER’s power boost of up to 200 percent the nominal current. is allows inductive loads to start without disrupting the output voltage. e power boost provides additional power to an application, which eliminates the need to install an oversized power supply. e new QUINT POWER low wattage additions are the rst small power supplies with con gurable alarming.

e Field Xpert SMT70 supports HART, PROFIBUS DP/PA, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, Modbus, CDI, and Endress+Hauser service interfaces. It can connect to eld instrumentation devices directly via a USB or Bluetooth wireless modem, or via a gateway, remote I/O, or multiplexer to a bus system. e Field Xpert device library has more than 2,700 pre-installed device and communication drivers, allowing it to work with many di erent instruments from a wide variety of vendors. e drivers can be used to communicate
