Tensioners &
The proper alignment of a bolted joint can be achieved by using either torque or tension
methods of bolting. Proper bolt loads must be realized during installation or the integrity
torque systems
of the joint will be compromised, leading to misalignment and, if left unchecked, the
ultimate failure of the joint. In this issue, we look at some of the tensioners and torque
systems available today.
