Appalachian Energy Center
Appalachian Energy Center holds a series of clean energy workshops every year on the campus of Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. The series includes two solar photo- voltaic classes and one solar thermal class. Introduction to Photovoltaic System Design and Construction Workshop introduces participants to the fundamentals of solar energy, types of solar energy systems, system sizing principles, and the electrical and mechanical design of photovoltaic arrays.
