The SunRunner energy system combines a main
SUNRNR unit for storage and output with a
renewable energy source for generation. The
included solar panels are the most commonly
used source (the unit may also be recharged by
other means, such as by wind or water turbine).
The SUNRNR main unit consists of the fol-
lowing: a steel chassis that encloses a 245 Ah
re-chargeable battery; a high-output DC-to-AC
inverter; a charge controller with display; a
master disconnect on/off switch; auxiliary power
socket; and accessible fuses. It also has a quick-
connect input/output with system expansion
portals. It is the inverter—or lack thereof—that
deines the SUNRNR model, which is available in
various outputs, including the SUN110, SUN220,
SUN240, and as the SUNPWR.
