            Solar Thermal Manufacturing & Equipment
 FAFCO, Inc.
CoolPV combines solar electric and solar thermal into one panel to enhance electricity output and heat a swimming pool. CoolPV delivers up to four times the energy of standard solar modules in the form of both electricity and thermal energy. It is often referred to as hybrid or photovoltaic/thermal (PVT) technology. Water within the CoolPV thermal tubes cools the solar module, which increases its efficiency and produces more electricity. Heat pulled from the modules and absorbed from the sun is then used to heat the pool. CoolPV optimizes roof space by combining two energy-producing systems into one while maintaining rooftop aesthetics.

   Quest Renewables
The QuadPod double cantilever is erected on three foundations per 100kW, and its trusses are capable of 60’ spans between foundations. Its proprietary geometry reduces foundation size in high load environ- ments. The canopy enables more kilowatts per acre under high snow and wind where high power density is needed. 90% of QuadPod’s construction takes place on the ground, inclusive of module place- ment, inverter mounting, and wiring. After ground assembly, canopies are lifted by crane for final attachment, minimizing overhead work and optimizing site safety. Fewer days on-site time means reduced construction management costs, increased throughput, and limited disruption to parking lot operations.
